Learning Manifestation: Unleashing the Power of Miracles into Your Life

Learning to manifest is like learning to pray.

Manifestation is an introspective process where we go deep within in order to connect to the divine and the material world, and we take intentional action in the world to bring forward what we're calling in... what our heart desires.

Manifestation about learning to trust your intuition and learning how to cultivate a deep faith and connection with the divine.

Often, the manifestation process can be intimidating, especially for those with a religious shadow that has produced fear of things that are termed "new age." This has definetly been a big part of my journey, and one that through sharing in this blog and on my podcast, Manifesting Miracles, is working to overcome. (I'm "outing my shadow" here, something we'll discuss more later.) But manifestation and faith go hand in hand...

Unlike what is often taught in religion, the manifestation process doesn't rely on an external expert, be it a priest or a guru. Instead, it aims to remind you that you have a direct connection to the source. I use the term universe and God, but use whatever term feels right to you - any hestitation about either of those two terms is just the limitation of language we use to talk about the divine. When I use the term the universe, I am talking about the energy - maybe you call it God - that is everywhere in all things at all times, and its goal - the mission for you in your life - is to love deeply. And that begins with learning to deeply love yourself, because you cannot love others more than you love yourself... God is love; the universe is aiming for you to return to your whole, worthy, authentic self - whatever that may look like - and to learn to love who you are in this lifetime... in the spiritual and physical realms.

The first part of the manifestation process is learning what your true beliefs are - not what you were taught they should be in order to belong, to be loved, or accepted, but what feels true and right in your soul. This can be scary because this means that you need to heal from any shame you're carrying around, from pain in your past, from trauma - big or small - and from any programming that you picked up from society, culture, your family, your peers. But the more you peel back those layers and heal, the closer your dreams come to becoming your reality.

But it goes a step deeper, too. You must open up your mind to what you believe is possible for you. If you're dreaming of something but it feels or seems impossible or too far-fetched, you must intentionally and curiously explore this - be it through watching TV shows, movies, reading books, following people on Instagram, or watching videos on YouTube about people having, doing, being, or experiencing what it is that you desire. Ask yourself why you think it is impossible, and be curious about why it is that you desire this thing/experience/etc.

This then leads to another core principle, and that is authenticity... which can be hard. Because this means you need to continually seek clarity and understanding of what your soul desires - and many of us need to learn to love and accept who we truly are. You need to ask yourself, where are you hiding? What aspect of yourself are you denying? And how do you lean into being honest with yourself about who you are? And trust that you will be loved and accepted for your authenticity... even though getting there may be scary and those in your life today may not be the same people in your life tomorrow if you become more of who you are.

The final step of the process is to make movements - to take action - to make decisions today that are perhaps different from the ones you made yesterday in order for you to become more of who you are and to build your trust muscle in yourself and in the universe and God. You need to do more than think about healing in your mind and feeling it in your heart - you need to take movement and action in the physical world towards your dreams and in the direction of being more true to who you are. This can be learning to set boundries, asking for help, or making a different choice that you would have in the past.

In the Christian context, we talk about Jesus as being fully human and fully divine. You must learn to love your soul in the spiritual context and on the physical human plane.

Manifestation isn't always about staying in the positive because the things mentioned above take a real act of bravery and courage, but it is possible. You are the one you've been seeking. You are the one who is holding the key to your life. You are in the driver's seat. When you bravely step into your authenticty, you can truly manifest miracles.
